O Pipo, located in the centre of Portimão, is a cosy, local restaurant serving great algarvian dishes. Hearty meals packed with flavour with options ranging from seafood to steaks, stews and fish. Open for lunch and dinner.

Set by the square in front of the Portimão's town council, O Pipo has a small indoor dining room and an outside terrace for summer meals. Inside, the feeling is relaxed bistro, with seating at the high bar as well as at the tables.

The menu always has a choice of dishes of the day - usually starring fresh produce from the local markets. Treats from the land and the sea feature on the menu too - there are steaks, pork and chicken dishes, as well as great range of fish and seafood - cod, sea-bream and sea-bass, prawns, clams and squid. Special mention for the Cataplanas - traditional stews of fish, seafood or meat.
